Paul has consulted with and advised boards and executive teams across public and private organisations, including NHS Supply Chain, Transport for London and the Department for Transport.
His work focuses on purpose, performance and good governance - guiding boards to stay focused on what matters most and make decisions that deliver lasting impact.
Before founding Skipta Consulting, Paul held senior leadership roles within NHS Improvement, NHS England and BAE Systems (spanning aerospace, technology and defence), where he led transformation and integration programmes that strengthened governance, performance and alignment across complex systems.
These experiences reinforced his belief that successful change starts with clarity, genuine leadership and shared understanding. It’s this perspective he now shares with others, bringing those lessons to life through his keynote speaking, panels and podcasts
On stage, Paul combines intelligence, creativity and pragmatism. He’s known for drawing on vivid, unexpected examples, from Shackleton’s leadership to the lessons of modern boardrooms - making serious ideas relatable and inspiring. His audiences value his humour, honesty and storytelling as much as his expertise, leaving with fresh ways to think and practical actions to take.
A former amateur rugby player and avid Green Day fan, he often jokes he’s more ‘Green Day than grey suit’, a mindset that runs through everything he does, whether in a boardroom, workshop or conference hall.
Beyond work, Paul lives in Kent with his wife and has three children.
